Passionate and optimistic, Cian has a lot of faith in the gods that his mother spoke so much about and he is determined to help the others with saving the world.

He can be very selfless at times, to his own detriment, but he also isn't someone that should go underestimated. Underneath his calm smiles and little speeches there is a being who is exhausted at the thought of more loss.

As a cleric, Cian is known for his healing spells and buffs -- and he seems to be lacking in anything that actually packs a punch ... until, that is, Cian ends up backed against a wall. Taking too much damage himself causes his god blood to essentially take over, and Cian loses agency over his movements and even the words that come out of his mouth. The hope is to find ways to control this state, but he's terrified of the wrong person being on the recieving end of that power.
backstory

There was once a woman by the name of Greene Frostrane, who lived up in the cold mountains with her husband. After losing her husband to an illness, she felt great despair and she traveled to the highest peak to speak with the gods -- and ask them for a means of no longer being so heartbroken and so lonely. While she asked, there was a meteor shower and one of the stars fell and stopped at her feet, radiant and breathtaking to behold. A voice told her to consume the star ... and promised that she would no longer experience loneliness for as long as she lived.

A few days after doing this, Greene realized that she was actually pregnant ... and after a long 9-month wait, she gave birth to a beautiful child. This child was named Cian, and the bundle of joy would be everything she wanted for the rest of her days.

For 13 years, she taught Cian about the gods -- about their miracles and she promised that should this child ever need their light that they would answer. They spent their time in the mountains until Greene, too, fell ill. A few days after his 13th birthday, Greene Frostrane smiled her last smile ... and her son buried her under the same tree where her late husband was waiting.

Heartbroken, but trusting the gods his mother spoke of, Cian's journey began only a few weeks later when he decided to become a traveler ... and he has been moving from place to place speaking happily about the gods and light ever since.

What Cian doesn't know is that he is very much one of those gods -- and the light that he calls upon whenever he needs it comes from within him. He is far from human but contains such humanity that nobody would ever guess different. The Final Dawn, a dawn that will rise when the world resets, is a rumor that many whisper about. A chance to reset with your current knowledge. A do-over. A means of correcting or avoiding mistakes. This dawn resides inside of Cian ... and a lot of very bad people are looking for it and hoping to force it from him. He has no idea about this, though.

    • Someone who Cian loves so thouroughly. Cian adores Timothy and was actually the one to make the first move -- and now the two of them spend a lot of time talking and or cuddling. Cian is willing to die for Timothy and the apothecary is not happy about it.

    • Despite Arden's upbringing, Cian trusts and honestly adores Arden. He loves to hear his stories and doesn't fear any of the darkness within him. The trust he has for him has allowed their bond to strengthen a lot and the two often chatter about different things while traveling.

    • A strange woman who is terrifying with a bow but doesn't converse much. Cian respects her and wants to know more about her, but is patient enough to wait for her to decide if she wants to open up or not.

    • A very troubled ex-soldier who Cian does his best to look after. Cheering her up isn't always easy and Cian has to take extra time to work on healing under her patchm but they get along well.

    • Taylen is very troubled, but that only draws Cian even closer due to his need to help others. When Taylen asks hard questions, Cian does his best to answer truthfully -- but he also does what he can to make sure it isn't a super hard blow.

    • Horo is someone that Cian often locates and checks in on, especially as she is the one who has seen and done so much for all of them already.

    • Orion is very cranky but Cian has learned that he will come and listen to stories or similar things as long as he is not summoned or acknowledged.
